As of December, we are making weekly deliveries to about 50 families consisting of about 120 people. Many people are unable to drive due to illnesses (including stroke and lost of limb(s), or they don't have transportation. A small portion come to our pantry, but most are home deliveries.

Each person involved in the Hoshana House Food Pantry has been in the position where a little extra food could help; as a matter of fact, many of us are still receiving assistance from the pantry today.
This is why it never crosses our minds that there is something wrong with someone who needs a little extra food.
If we can eat a little bit better, then it helps us feel a little bit better. When we feel a little bit better, we have the energy to do the things that we need to do, and an added benefit is that we find ourselves finding ways to help others.

Become part of our network and allow us to supply a food packet for you and your family, if you have one. You can use this food packet to supplement what you have. This allows your food dollar to stretch further than you can without the food packet so that you can use the extra money to help pay other needs.
