We are a sect of the Jewish faith, not religion, but the Jewish faith of Jesus of Nazareth. These pages were written to help you understand our faith. At our foundation, we are not a religion, but a faith.
A religion helps you on your path to knowing God, but when it becomes your faith, you become lost and you slowly develop into somebody you were not intended to be. The faith of the kingdom of God transforms you into the person that God intends you to be - this is the faith that we seek. Our religion, The Way (under the General Council of the Churches of the Living God) is just a support system to help us along our journey to know the one true God and the Anointed One that He sent, our Messiah Jesus of Nazareth.

Religions we are sometimes confused with
For those who have a religious background may be confused about us being defined by our faith and not our religion, and may want to try to define us by a religion that they are familiar with; however, our religion is not our faith, it is just man, guided by the Holy Spirit, developing some guidelines in order to help us on our journey by taking time to remember and be thankful to our heavenly Father for the many things that He has done for us, not least of which was to send the Messiah Jesus to us, it is designed to develop unity with our brothers and sisters, and it is to encourage us in our journey in seeking the kingdom of God. More about our religion's traditions later. For now let's focus on misconceptions.
There has been some confusion by those who have some type of religious background, to what this means, especially those of the Christian religion who confuse the Jesus the man that we follow with the Jesus the God that they follow. Though many believe like we do in their hearts, they don't have the confidence in their walk to stand up for what the Holy Spirit has revealed to them, and as such, depend on their doctrines and traditions, or because of their fear of their religious brethren and fear of being put out of their church they keep it to themselves; however, it is important that you understand, you will not be judged on your beliefs, but on your actions done from your heart.
